Now a little about me and my visual background.

I’m a lifelong Atlantan, seasoned journalist, photographer, photo editor, and multimedia manager.

During 2011-2012 I’m using my web background as a consultant and working my photo skills on the familiar streets of Atlanta and the sidelines at the Georgia Dome, UGA, Georgia Tech and courtside at Philips Arena.

From 2009-2011 I was the Photo/Multimedia Director at the Athens Banner-Herald and OnlineAthens.com, ushering in many award-winning photos from my great visual staff.

In the summer and fall of 2009 I took my photo and multimedia show to Georgia State University, Soccer United Marketing, Reuters, Target, AOPA, the Georgia Dome and Oglethorpe University.

From 1991 to 2009 I traveled throughout the USA, and the world, focusing on athletics and news events important to Georgians as a photographer and photo editor for the Atlanta Journal Constitution and ajc.com.

Before that I worked as a wire service photographer and photo editor traveling the region, nation and world for UPI, Reuters, and AFP, and was one of the first regional freelancers for USA Today.

In my spare time I play bass guitar and am a private pilot and aerial photography specialist.
